Chrysler Neon: Why Buying Second-Hand Makes Sense There is a strange unwritten rule around buying cars that buying a second-hand car has much less prestige than buying new. Now, we freely admit that in some areas of life, buying new is definitely the only option. You can't buy second-hand food, for example. But there are plenty of times when buying second-hand isn't something we worry about. When you buy a house there is usually prestige in buying one that has been around for a while. And there is always a massive market for second-hand books. In some situations buying second-hand might even have more status. And when it comes to luxury cars, we're not convinced that buying used is such a bad idea. So with that in mind, let's look at some of the benefits of avoiding the new car showrooms, and picking up a used car. The first and most obvious point is the massive financial benefit of buying used. Used cars are always much cheaper than those that are brand new. In the current economy it makes sense to make prudent decisions with money. Buying an excellent quality used car can free up your money for other things. It's also true that you won't find any hidden costs when buying a used car. The price you see is the price you get. New cars can be notoriously expensive just to get running on the road.
Model-for-model, buying used will always mean you can get more for your money. A large used car will generally even be cheaper than a small new car. Bear that in mind if you are planning for the future. More car is always a good thing. Also remember that buying a used car opens up your options to cars that aren't in production anymore. There are some gems, like the Chrysler® Neon, that can only be bought second-hand. The Neon is a fabulous all-rounder. It's that perfect blend of stylish, smart and great-fun to drive. You can't buy it new anymore, so pick up a used model: Chrysler's lasting quality means you know it will be in great condition. It's not even like you can't get exactly what you want. The second-hand car market is likely to have even more choice available than new cars on offer today. You can get something sporty, spacious or luxurious safe in the knowledge that it has been a great car for someone else. A proven track record is more difficult to come-by in a new car. You don't want to spend all that money on something that isn't exactly right. So either get a new car from Chrysler, as they are a brand you already trust, or look at a second-hand Chrysler Neon if a new car is still out of your reach.
