Front Row Safety
Advanced multistage driver and front-passenger airbags(1) deploy during a severe frontal or near-frontal impact to help protect front seat occupants. They provide nearly instantaneous occupant protection by matching airbag output to crash severity. Standard supplemental front seat-mounted side airbags provide enhanced side protection for the driver and front seat passenger. They work together with side-curtain airbags to help protect an occupant during side impact and rollover events.
Active Head Restraints
Standard front-seat active head restraints(4) help prevent or reduce the extent of injuries to the driver and front passenger in certain types of rear-end impacts. When deployed, (in the event of a rear-end collision) these head restraints automatically move forward and upward to decrease the space between the headrest and occupant's head, helping to reduce the chance of injury.

Maintain Control
During extreme steering maneuvers the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system helps maintain control by sensing when the vehicle is starting to over- or under steer. ESC automatically applies individual brakes or controls the throttle to help you stay safely on course. When you don't want the extra hand, ESC is specially tuned for performance handling so you can switch it off.
All-Speed Traction Control (ASTC)
All-speed traction control limits wheel spin during acceleration so that the drive wheels have maximum traction. It's particularly useful when starting off in wet or icy conditions. If the system detects wheel slip, it applies brake pressure to the slipping wheel or wheels and if necessary, may reduce engine power to maintain traction and vehicle stability.
Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)
ABS with rough road detection, brake assist and all-speed traction control helps prevent wheel lockup for improved steering under extreme braking and slippery conditions.

Second and Third Row Safety
Standard supplemental side-curtain airbags deploy in certain rollover events and/or side-impact collisions to provide added occupant protection for all outboard passengers. The system uses roll-sensing technology to determine the severity of the impact and deploy the airbags accordingly.
Parking Assistance
Chrysler Grand Voyager offers plenty of assistance when parking with the standard ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System(3) • Soundwaves detect nearby obstacles • Audio and visual indicators let you know how close the object is.
For even more help, the ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera is also standard on Limited. • Helps you detect obstacles behind you when moving in reverse • Displays a wide-angle view of the area immediately behind your vehicle on the Media Centre Radio screen
Sentry Key® Theft Deterrent System
The Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System only allows the vehicle to start with the properly encoded key. If an unauthorised attempt is made to start the vehicle without the proper key, the engine will not operate.
