Genuine Chrysler parts and accessories are the only parts designed and engineered exclusively for your Chrysler vehicle by DaimlerChrysler. They are designed to fit, perform and wear exactly to your vehicle. It's your only guarantee that what's under the hood, matches what's on the hood.
Genuine Chrysler parts and accessories are also the only parts protected by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation limited warranty. That's assurance that whatever genuine accessory or replacement part you purchase, and have professionally installed by expert factory-trained technicians, will perform to superior standards.
Safety Concerns
Genuine Chrysler Parts are the only collision repair parts designed and engineered exclusively for your Chrysler vehicle.
This preserves the integrity of the design of your Chrysler vehicle, and keeps it performing as it should. As a prime example, Genuine Chrysler glass is the best glass to use for replacement on your Chrysler because it has been tested to ensure that it can:
(1) Contribute to the strength of the roof structure to help reduce crushing of the roof in the event of a collision or rollover accident.
(2) Redirect the air bag in some vehicle designs to help properly position the bag in front of the occupant.
(3) Help reduce the chance of the driver or passenger being thrown through the windshield in the event of an accident.*
(4) Prevent improper installation problems, such as wind noise and water leaks.

Fit, Finish and Performance
Genuine Chrysler Parts are designed, engineered and tested by the same corporate teams that designed, engineered and tested your Chrysler. That means Genuine Chrysler parts:
(1) Install a precise, good-as-new fit.
(2) Eliminate odd gaps, mismatched or slightly "off" alignments.
(3) Utilise the same quality materials, paints and coatings to match your vehicle's factory paint.
(4) Maintain the same level of corrosion protection as your vehicle did when it was new. Generic aftermarket parts can't boast that kind of precision.
In fact, studies show that generic parts deviate considerably in their accuracy of fit due to dimensional variance. Four out of five non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) aftermarket crash parts were inferior to OEM parts.*

Suggested Servicing - Service Log Book
To help make regular servicing easier on you and your Chrysler, we've provided you with a complete service log book in the Owner's Manual of your vehicle. Inside this log book you'll find a recommended service schedule for your vehicle. Staying up to date with the maintenance schedule and logging in your vehicle's service visits will keep the overall performance and value of your Chrysler at its best.
Warranty
Genuine Chrysler Parts are the only collision repair parts protected by a DaimlerChrysler Corporation limited warranty.
Generic aftermarket and salvage parts are not covered by your DaimlerChrysler Corporation New Vehicle Anticorrosion Limited Warranty.*
If generic aftermarket or salvage parts cause any corrosion bleed onto original parts, the affected parts are not covered, either. And if use of an aftermarket or salvage part causes damage to wiring or air bag deployment, you could be placing more than your warranty in jeopardy.
One more thing to consider: aftermarket part companies don’t have your ownership or lease information, so contacting you in the event of a recall is virtually impossible.

The Resale Value Difference
Buying a vehicle is one of the biggest investments most people make. That's why maintaining its value when you're ready to sell it is especially important. Keeping your vehicle "like new" helps ensure you'll get the greatest return on your investment at time of resale. If you lease your vehicle, your lease may require that you use Genuine Chrysler Parts when repairing your vehicle.
